Wolfram MathCore Job Posting: Summer Internships
Are you a master of science student, driven by curiosity and with a passion for model-based design? In that case, we might have the summer internship for you. We are looking for students who love modeling and simulation and are solution driven and passionately curious.
As an intern, you will help us to develop new Virtual Labs for teaching in aircraft engineering, analog electrical circuits or control systems at the college level. This means that you will develop digital twins for different real-world applications. The labs are combined with interactive materials with exercises for students. The Wolfram Blog post Powering Engineering Education with Wolfram Virtual Labs shows an example from a Virtual Lab in thermal energy for the college level.
Skills and Experience
You should be studying for a master of science in engineering and have taken courses in at least one of the following areas: aircraft engineering, analog electrical circuits or control systems. Experience with modeling and simulation, ideally using a Modelica tool, as well as with Mathematica is beneficial. You must have good verbal and written communication skills in English—and most importantly, be passionately curious and have the drive to find new insights, innovations and results.
